Simon Hurley create. Stamping Foam
Simon Hurley Create Stamping Foam is a heat-sensitive, reusable crafting tool made by Ranger Ink. It lets you press textured items like dies, embossing folders, stamps, or household objects into the foam to create custom, one-of-a-kind stamps that you can ink, mist with water, and stamp onto paper.
How to Use Stamping Foam
- Heat it up: Hold a craft heat tool moving continuously over the foam for 10 to 15 seconds to soften it.
- Make an impression: Press the warm foam firmly into your chosen texture or die and hold it for 5 to 10 seconds.
- Apply ink: Swipe or blend dye inks directly onto the raised areas of your new custom stamp.
- Stamp: Lightly spray the inked foam with water for a soft watercolor look, then press it down onto your cardstock.
- Reset and reuse: Reheat the foam with your heat tool for 10 to 15 seconds to make the impression disappear so you can create a brand new design.
Key Features
- Reusable: You can melt and remold the surface endlessly.
- Light Gray Color: Makes it very easy to see the colored inks you apply on top.
- Easy to Clean: Simply wipe or rinse clean with water after use.
- Multiple Sizes: Available in standard 3" x 4.25" packs of four, larger sizes, and specialty shapes like heart-cut designs
