The Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator & Starter Kit (UK Version) is a heated foiling system that applies gorgeous, professional-grade metallic finishes to craft projects. The UK version features a 220-240V, 3-pin UK plug and is designed for scrapbooking, card making, and DIY décor up to 13 inches wide.

How it Works

The Minc machine uses an advanced 4-roller electrothermal system and adjustable heat settings (from 0 to 5) to evenly apply heat and pressure. When the heated rollers pass over a design printed with black laser toner, the heat forces the reactive foil to permanently adhere to the toner, resulting in a flawless metallic finish.

Important Tips for Success

• Laser vs. Inkjet: The Minc foil only reacts with black electro-thermal toner from a laser printer. It will not work with inkjet printed designs.
• Direction: Always feed the folded edge of the transfer folder into the machine first to prevent jamming.
• Shiny Side Up: Ensure the reactive foil is placed with the bright, shiny metallic side facing upward
