Golden Artist Colors Clear Leveling Gel (formerly Self-Leveling Clear Gel) is a 100% acrylic polymer medium designed to create a flat, high-gloss, and flexible film, ideal for smoothing uneven surfaces, increasing color transparency, or creating glazes. It is unique for its stringy, resinous consistency that dries from milky-white to completely transparent.

How to Use

• Application: Apply in thin, even layers using a brush or spatula to avoid excessive trapped air.
• Bubbles: To remove surface bubbles, lightly spray the wet gel with rubbing alcohol.
• Layering: Apply in multiple thin coats rather than one thick layer to prevent cracking, allowing around 24 hours between layers.
• Finish: Can be buffed to a matte finish after fully curing.
• Cleaning: Clean tools with soap and water while the gel is still wet.
