The Sizzix ShadowPress Station (inspired by designer Tim Holtz) is a compact, durable alignment tool designed specifically to help crafters easily and neatly apply ink to "ShadowPress" debossing folders.
How it Works
- Eliminates Mess: In the past, inking the raised, "Audi" side of a debossing folder directly with an ink pad was difficult, often leaving smudges where they didn't belong.
- Locks in Place: The station acts as a protective template; you snap your ShadowPress debossing folder into its recessed track so it locks securely and cannot slip.
- Guided Brayering: Once locked in, the station has built-in tracks and a guiding tab that allow you to smoothly roll a brayer (like the Ranger Mini Brayer) over the folder, depositing ink only on the highest raised surfaces.
- The Sizzix Sandwich: After inking, you remove the folder from the station, place it over your paper, and run it through a standard Sizzix die-cutting machine (such as the Big Shot, BIGkick, or Vagabond) with your standard platform to create a sharp, colored drop-shadow effect.
Key Features
- Built-in Handles: It features a convenient holding tab and stabilizing plastic feet to prevent slipping while you work.
- Long-lasting: Measures roughly 8.25" × 2.5" × 0.125" and is built to withstand thousands of impressions.
- Easy to Clean: The station can be easily wiped down using water and a paper towel or a standard stamp cleaner.
