Ranger Ink Tim Holtz Adirondack Color Wash

Ranger Ink Tim Holtz Adirondack Color Wash is a concentrated, water-based, acid-free dye spray designed for creating vintage, translucent color effects on porous surfaces like paper, wood, and fabrics. It is highly reactive with water, making it ideal for blending, layering, and creating washes. It requires heat-setting for permanency, especially on textiles. 

Key Features and Usage:

• Best Surfaces: Designed for absorbent surfaces such as paper, watercolor paper, fabric, and wood.
• Appearance: Offers a vibrant but aged, translucent, "washed" look.
• Application: Spray directly onto surfaces to create backgrounds or apply multiple colors while wet to blend them.
• Permanence: Heat-set with a craft heater or iron for permanent results.
• Fabric Care: For fabric, heat-set and wait 72 hours before washing in cool water with mild detergent.
• Cleanup: Non-toxic, but highly concentrated. Use a craft scrubby to remove it from the skin. 

Important Tips:

• Clogging: If the spray nozzle clogs, it is recommended to use a thin paper clip or wire to clear the tip rather than a pin, which can damage the nozzle.
• Not Alcohol Ink: Note that Color Wash is a water-based dye, which is distinct from Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks, which are for non-porous surfaces.
• Color Intensity: Colors may intensify when dried with heat.
