Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Mica Flakes are translucent, synthetic flakes designed to add nostalgic, subtle shimmer and texture to mixed media, cardmaking, and holiday crafts. They are easy to apply, often paired with Distress Collage Medium or Glossy Accents for snowy or vintage effects, and can be colored with alcohol inks.

• Appearance: Assorted sizes of translucent, soft, and light flakes that add a pearlescent shimmer rather than high-glitter sparkle.
• Uses: Perfect for creating snowscapes, adding texture to Distress projects, and giving a vintage feel to mixed media projects.
• Coloring: Although translucent, they can be customized by dyeing them with Alcohol Inks.
• Application: Best applied using wet adhesives like Distress Collage Medium, Glossy Accents, or gesso.
